Just wanted to share a bit about my wonderful time at the RITS show on Friday night.
It was in Fergus Falls, MN and we had excellent seats, front row center for both shows. To my delight, RITS played with a local orchestra and the sound was WONDERFUL. I have wanted to see RITS with a group like this for some time. The orch and Riders alternated playing at first, then played some together, and then Riders did the whole second half of the show themselves.
As Bobbie asked me, I delivered a gift to RD and Joey on behalf of the cyberpals. For RD, a cute snowman coffee mug and for Joey a handmade (not by me) ornament with Santa on it.
My son won the 8 track tape (at last!!!) at the second show, (first show they didn't do questions). He asked them if they wanted to hear a riddle and it was one he made up and then messed up in the delivery and the whole thing really busted up RD and Slim and so he got the tape!! He is so excited!!!!! Now, I hope my daughter will win sometime.
It was a wonderful evening of music and a treat to be with Riders for a Christmas show again after a few years.
