Daddy copyright 1998 by Stormy

Daddy, would you mind too much,
If I sat on your knee?
There's something I want to tell you, Daddy
Private, just you and me.
Remember when you got me, Daddy?
When I was very small?
Well, I wondered if you noticed, Daddy,
That now I'm awfully tall.

You know I just turned seven, Daddy.
Can you believe that's true?
And though I'm now a woman, Daddy,
I will always love you.
I love you more than my stuffed horse,
The one that has no tail.
I love you more that Roy Rogers,
And hitting the dusty trail.

And Daddy, words just can't describe,
How much you mean to me.
I love you more than my paper dolls,
And the bike you bought for me.
I love you more than birthday cake,
And that's really quite a lot.
And Daddy, I'm awfully glad,
You're the Daddy that I got.

You know, it's getting late now, Daddy,
It's almost time for bed.
I want you to remember, Daddy,
Each word that I have said.
You know I'm all grown up now Daddy,
Won't be a child again.
But before I have to fall asleep,
Daddy, would you tuck me in?

There is a river that I love copyright 1997 by Gary

There is a River that I love
More than any river in the U.S.of A.
Even though I've never seen it in my life.
I've only heard about it in a Cowboy song.
I heard it by a group of singin' Cowboys.
These Cowboys are called, "Riders in the Sky".

The River that I love so much.
Is called the Cimarron.
I hope to get to see it and I hope it's not too long.
It runs through Oklahome and some in Kansas too.
I want to ride along it's banks, or walking it will do.
In Cimarron County in the panhandle of Oklahoma.

And take my shoes and socks off,
And walk the Cimarron River.
That would be a dream come true.
And I really hope it happens soon, oh how I really do.
Just to ride a horse or walk the banks of the
Cimarron.
Not much of a dream but for me a dream that will do.
Not much of a dream but I hope this dream comes true.

CIMARRON RIVER, I LOVE YOU!
