First, they did two performences of show number 3629, so there were two questions that won the 8-track. (this is mainly for Gary)1. What's the best use for cowhide (hold the cow together) 2. Do people really pay to see you guys? I asked if they always wore the same hats, and they did the hat switch. Ranger Doug said it meant Woody and Slim were married under Washington law, and Slim said nothing would come of it. The songs the played were. . .* Texas Plains * Ride, cowboy, ride * That's how the Yodel was born * After you've gone * How does he yodel * Miss Molly * Amber Eyes * Night Ridein' song * Farr Away stomp(varmit dancin') * Way up in the sky * You're wearin' out your welcome...Matt * Ghost Riders in the Sky * Wild and the lonely * Arms of my Love (with lyrics) * Mr. Sincere * When payday rolls around * Happy trails * Tumbling Tumbleweeds * Cattle Call * Home on the Range * Sioux city Sue (with special lyrics) * South of the Border * The Trail Tip song * Rawhide * And they did Surfin' USA, which was what I called out during the requests. Since I was in the front row, and no one else was talking at the time, Ranger Doug saw who yelled it out, and said, " Security, we have a live one in the front row!!" I turned as red as a tomatoe!!! But it was worth it to see the look on Ranger Doug's face when Slim and Woody started playing it. They loved the bandanas!! All three of them (Joey wasn't there) tried to autograph them at first, but were really pleased when they saw what they were. Slim pretended to start crying and used the bandana to wipe his eyes. I gave the one for Joey to Woody and asked him to give it to Joey. Woody Paul Cyrus put in a show. That's the first time I've seen him, and just about died when he did his song. Of course, the picture of Ranger Doug trying to move around is pretty funny too. I hope that one turns out. Woody did his rope tricks, that's when I ran out of film. I took 91 pictures, so some of them should turn out. I'll know on Thursday. Slim did varmit dancin' (Woody did the turkey, chicken, and deep fat fried chicken dances). And they did my favorite bit. You should all know which one I'm talking about. The bit with the "Phist Yah!" I managed to let out a yell, which gave Slim the opportunity to say, "Well, someone does" Palindrome came by, and Ranger Doug lost it. He started laughing so hard at the new palindrome in the skit, that he couldn't talk for close to a minute. I just wish I could remember it. The usual ones were there. That's about it. I went early because some of my friends in the local cowboy poetry group were over there reciting poetry, so I wanted to hear them. They got me into the show! Now I can say I shared the stage with the Riders. That was the biggest group yet. It was a lot of fun. I was going to do the "Surfin' cowboy" but they wouldn't let me because Slim was there. Tiff
